SC Camp!

Heyyo! I'm back from the 3-day-2-nights SC camp! As promised, I'm going to post about all the things tht had happened, hopefully I can remember all haha. Currently in a better body state haha, finally managed to get a proper 2h 'nap'. I dozed off as soon as I finished showering. Haha the feeling of lying on my comfy bed is real great, no need to experience back pain alr. For the past 2 nights, I couldn't really make myself sleep basically because of the flat floor. Haha more will be elaborated later on. So basically, 13Nov-15Nov'09 are memorable days and thats why I'm blogging right now, to always remember these days :) Day 1, 13Nov: It was raining quite heavily, so Amelia and I took 945 bus to sch instead of walking. Haha well, but we didn't stop at our desired bus-stop because of some miscommunication between me and her, in the end we end up walking to sch also lol haha! Then we all gathered at the canteen area. Attendance was taken and we went into our allocated groups. Jielin and I are the Group Ic for Group 3, till later on when her task is changed into Facilitator. Some familiar faces like Min Zaw, Jerome, Janice and Huiying are in my group and there were a total of 10ppl. We had short ice-breakers and through it, we introduced ourselves and so on. Haha I was pretty shocked when we had to come up with an item to be performed for the 2nd day. Well basically because I'm not good in cheers and dance haha! Noticed that some of my group members were still shy, as in the sec1s. We named ourselves 'Angell'. But the atmosphere warmed up a little more when Joseph did all the cheerings :) Thereafter, we all proceeded to Ava1 to put the bags down and head to the canteen for dinner. If my memory doesn't fail me, after the dinner along the Ava1 corridor, we went back to Ava1 and listened to Mr Liu's and Mr Yoong's talk. Interesting of course. Also, we decided to combine group with Group1(Edwin and Sixuan were in charge of) for the performance item. Especially the paper plate part where we'd to go around writing the positive traits of people we are quite to very familiar with. Hope to get the paper plate back asap :) The sum-up for the whole talk was The Pencil Parable, a very true and make sensed concept haha. Then we head to the Hall and lights-out was at 12.30am. Hmm I think because I've been sleeping very lately, usually 1-1.30am everyday during the holiday, now sleeping at 12.30am seemed too early haha. But the very fact that made me unable to sleep was the hard floor. Lol my tail bone hurts so I kept tossing around haha. Till it get to the moment when Shaoyi came to me and asked me to sleep as there's very little time to sleep on 2nd day. Haha since I'm quite sensitive to sound and light when sleeping, the torch-light and footsteps made me awake too. Day 2, 14th Nov: Woke up at 6.30am and had wash-up. Water was cold and unbearable at first, but soon it was fine already. Lynette, Wanjun, Cuiting and I slacked around after bathing while waiting for our hair to dry. Then, the day started with PT(Physical Time). Did some stretching before the 5basic exercise. Waqiu was so strict with the basic exercise, haha but some of us ended up laughing along the way somehow. That was my first time doing such strenuous morning exercise....after a very long time. Haha pity the UGs to do such PT during their camp. I felt very energised and awakened. Well i think the PT was better than the normal running I usually do, basically because it stretched almost all body muscles. Finally we had our Breakfast before heading for the Hike at East Coast. Shared Milo with Janice and we killed waiting time by playing scissor paper stone haha lol. I won her 10x and she owed me a $1 lunch treat haha! We also played some bombing cheer among the groups haha. Otw to East Coast in the bus, Janice and I chatted about many many things haha. She would always talk to me in Chinese, even after some ppl asked 'why do you talk to her in Chi?' haha! Okay fine, lucky I know a little Chi here and there :) We also practised our cheers in the bus with Group 1. Reached East Coast and we were dispersed into our groups for the 8stations journey. Edwin's and my group decided to buy our lunch in Mc first and to have them along the way. Ed and I initially thought of only buying filet-o-fish burger, but the fickle-minded Ed finally decided for the meal haha. Huamm, having a responsible to be his kakak, I'd to help him hold the Coke all the way! We were told to report back at 2.30pm. It started and to find the ans for the first clue, it took us abt 20min? Basically because the distance we'd to walk was no easy peasy haha. After some stations, the weather started to be chaotic. Strong wind was against us, and the drizzle began. Haha the damn funny thing was the umbrella part. Ed's and my umbrella siao siao one, because the wind was too strong, so it blew the other side and we exchanged umbrella haha. End up, Edwin had to place the umbrella in front of him directly without having to hold it, all thanks to the strong wind. Okay it was v v funny~ Laugh like abcdefg lol :p Then, we were told that reporting time was 3.3o instead of 2.30. Since we've decided to stop at station 7, we'd to continue till the last station which was way way down the area... Our whole leg was so painful, also due to the strenuous star jump earlier during the PT. In the end, Jielin, Ed and I went so hyped and crazy, laughing on our way back for no reason haha because we were tooooo tired, need to rush back the to starting point too.  Look at this kiddo holding the umbrella! HhahaWorn out after the Hike and intended to sleep in the bus otw back. But didn't in the end bcos Janice and I chatted again, haha she's quite a chatterbox :D This time we talked abt a more serious stuff :x I just remembered too that I had nt eaten my burger which was already in a flat condition by then. Still edible and presentable though haha, so had my late lunch at arnd 4 in the bus. Reached sch back and we proceeded to Hall for the performance prep for abt 2.5h. Sorry to have pulled out some boys out, basically because they didn't meet the expectation of being loud and clear. So we promised to give them bathing time if they could be loud and clear :) Gotten our SC tee too and we'd to change into it for the performance. We gathered back aft bathing and had last prep. Haha sorry for my crappy ideas ;p Some Alumni were seen and the whole event started with Irfan and Sherlyn as the emcee. Then, Mr Yoong declared Prefectorial Board is now Student Councils, and we are the Then it was performance time :0 We did the best we could. But i know some of my steps were disorder and messy >< Day 3, 15 Nov: We were woken up at 3.30am for the Night Hike!. Had 10mins to tie hair, so it was rather a rush early in the wee hour haha. The objective of the Hike was to catch the murderer who has killed 9lives so far haha. The wrist band represents our lives basically. Our first station was at the Home Econ room. Lol i was damn freaked out and screamed when Changfeng suddenly appeared out of the blue. Fyi, I dont like watching horror movie is bcos the ghost appears suddenly and too shockingly on the screen, in this case, Changfeng hhaha! Yeah true it was very scary in fact to walk around the sch early in the morning. Minzaw sprained his ankle so brought him to Waqiu to be 'cured', but in the end it swollened instead. I think it was partly my fault to have applied too much cream on his leg. Hope you recover fast :) Jielin warned us that the Scouts area was scarryyy, and indeed it was with all the woods ther :0 Time was up and we all proceeded back to the Hall. In the end we found out the murderer was Jonathan haha! :) Then we had wash-up and resting time till 8.15am. Lol since I already folded my sleeping bag and dont wish to hurt my back by sleeping on the floor again, I end up sitting on chair and sleeping hhaa lol. Thanks to the comfy small pillow that had accompanied me for the 2 nights lol. After which we had Sec1 Orientation games try-out. Ed was the one in-charge today. Started with the Squirrel game, Dodge Ball and Human Knot. Hmm though my group wasnt so enthu, but can see their effort in helping each other. Haha the nxt activity was Water Games!. Didn't expect myself to get to drenched, but thanks to Edwin and some other seniors who threw the water bombs :0 Edwin, we're draw now. Haha i want to make sure you suffer a little more being adik before I dont get to see you often nxt yr! :p Hell no, i was shivering from head to toe :0 Luckily it dries up pretty fast and for the 2nd water game, let my junior be the Mummy haha. Then, we changed out into dry clothes and had our lunch. Minzaw had to go home because of his swollened ankle. After which, we had area-cleaning and reflection time in the AVA1 before Debrief. We all learnt lessons too before the camp break, though not in a so good manner, but they still taught us to be self-reponsible. Ed, cheer up yeah! :D Surprisingly, my group emerged second! I never thought my group would win, haha dk how they end up with the scores. Edwin's was third and Nurainni's first :D Before going home, we all took some snaps with all the groups together! Here the new journey of being a student councilor embarks.. To my dearest 2e4 prefects, especially to Edwin, Cuiting and Wanjun who won't be in the same class as me, Irfan, Amelia and Lynette, do know that you 3 have been part of the 7-of-us great yet tough journey. Wish you good luck in upper sec life, and always keep in contact! :) Hopefully the photo I gave to each of you will always remind you guys of how bonded 2e4'09 prefects would always be!
