Im back right here, blogging!
As promised, i shall blog about what had happened on the concert day:D
I hope it will be an interesting post so you guys can enjoy reading it.haha.
Reached school around 12pm when actually we were s'pose to assemble at 1.45pm but most of the sec1s wanted to meet early to practice some songs though in the end we didn't.haha
Lunched at the nearest coffee shop and realized how Shijia can addicted to food, specifically the Fried Meehoon.haha.Then we proceeded to school and slacked a while there:D
Afterwards, we changed to our costumes, wah it was so damn stuffy. Off-ed to VCH(Victoria Concert Hall) and we were the 2nd school to reach there(: Each school has 30mins each to rehearse their songs on the stage itself and so our turn was the last. In the mean time, waiting for our turn to rehearse, we did the make-ups. Ms Wan decided to do plates for our hair,hoho:D
Thanks Jiamin and Shujing for helping me do the plates. I did help some people to plate too, it was fun especially with the make-ups.haha. First we had to apply the foundation, blusher and Mascara[is this the spelling?]:P And it was our turn to rehearse alr, i became so nervous, argh.
One thing i hate the most about the stage, the light itself. Wah, it is so bright! might as well they make it much brighter-.- or colourful,haha. We knew that the rehearsal wasn't good and some were worrying for our performance, think ing how we can make it if it was already our last rehearsal? I worried too. Worse still, i could feel my own heartbeat beating so fast, so i decided to hold Lingying's finger during the concert, just to assure myself that there is someone beside me. Thanks lotsa Lingying!:D What worries me most was that we hadn't any vocal warm-ups o.o
And..it was time for us to perform, the first song which was The Love Of A Song. It wasn't so scary cos' there were so many of us, 4schools combining to sing this opening piece:D Then, i realized that there was a troop of Swiss peepos in the front seats at the extreme right.lols0.0
Song after song was sang, from Away From The Roll Of The Sea, Winter, Langdans, Hikariga, Let It Shine and Stand By Me. Argh, it was such a relieved that the concert was a success, well not all songs were really that good, some were even too sharp, off tuned and so forth, but i dk why i have the feeling of satisfaction at the end of the concert:D Im loving Choir more and more man,haha:P We shall be more prepared for our SYF and i'm really looking forward for Choir camp!:DDD Continue with the topic, afterwards we went home.
Shijia, Cuiting, Lingying, Sokhui, a friend of Sokhui whose name i dk and me. We all MRT-ed home, and the interesting part was finding the way to Cityhall MRT. Shijia called his father, telling him that we were lost .. haha. Finally, after some directions' guide from Sokhui's friend, we reached the Cityhall MRT through Suntec City safely(: Chatted in MRT and Shijia, Cuiting, Lingying and i were gossiping about Sokhui and her 'boy' friend. haha. They really looked compatible, the guy's age is 20, but it doesn't really mater right? haha. Hope they can be an iten, hoho:P Even the guy was willing to alight at CCK Mrt when his house is at Yewtee, just to accompany Sokhui home.weetsss!sweeett:D haha.
Alright, finally im done with this post. My next post will be about Elaine's birthday celebration and i promise to post pics :D haha. Btw, today i did the American Maths thingy, and due tothe insufficient time, i tikam the last few Qs,haish ]: American's Maths is easier than Singaporean's Maths but thei language is rather tricky ): nvm, let bygones be bygones, i may do well in this test.hoho:P. Will be having Booth Com meeting later at Bukit Batok Mac, so i shall end here peepos. Do tag more yeah?:D
